Richard Eban Stanley Takim is an Apostle, teacher of God’s Word, author, and reformer whose ministry spans more than three decades. Called into ministry in 1993 following a series of profound encounters with the Lord that began in his childhood, he has become a significant voice in the ongoing apostolic reformation across Africa and beyond.

Born in 1976 near the Agbokim Waterfalls in Cross River State, Nigeria, Apostle Takim was raised in a Christian family and later became actively involved in the Assemblies of God Church in Abuja, where he encountered the Lord in a life-transforming way. Under the mentorship of seasoned ministers, he received a strong biblical foundation that continues to shape his ministry today.

His ministerial journey began as a passionate evangelist during his secondary school years, reaching students and participating in rural crusade evangelism. He also served as a prayer and intercessory leader, experiences that helped cultivate his deep understanding of prayer, spiritual warfare, and revival. Over the years, he has served in various capacities, including evangelist, pastor, teacher, and apostolic leader. In 2000, he was officially commissioned into independent ministry.

Apostle Takim is the Founder and Presiding Apostle of Cry of the Spirit Ministries Global (COTSM), headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. Through this ministry, he has dedicated his life to raising reformers, equipping believers, and advancing the purposes of God’s Kingdom among the nations.

He is also the President of Reformers Bible College, where he mentors and trains emerging leaders for effective Kingdom service. Widely respected for his depth in Scripture, prophetic insight, and apostolic leadership, he serves as a spiritual father and mentor to many ministers and believers across different nations.

An accomplished author of numerous transformational books, Apostle Takim is known for communicating profound biblical truths with clarity and practical relevance. His teachings focus on spiritual reformation, apostolic leadership, prayer, righteousness, Kingdom culture, and end-time preparation.

Apostle Richard E. S. Takim is married to Eucharia Takim, and together they are blessed with children. Their life’s testimony, including seasons of triumph and adversity, has equipped them to minister effectively on marriage, family life, and Christian character.

Fondly described as “an apostle by content,” Apostle Takim also serves as the Overseer of Morning Cloud Television Global, extending the message of Christ to a worldwide audience through media ministry.
